Material Application Engineer

Essential duties and responsibilities (but not limited to): 

Design and engineer free standing carbon nanotube (CNT) thin film/foil materials. Characterize physical and chemical properties of CNT thin films/foil such as, but not limited to, electrical, mechanical and/or thermal performance. May be responsible for developing new methods of testing, training technicians and lab workers to the manufacturing sites. Explore the application of the CNT thin film for replacing current thin film/foil materials.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working experience in free standing thin film/foil  materials such as Cu, Al or other foil materials 

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or relevant fields 

  • Basic understanding of nanoscale materials 

  • Basic understanding of nano-material characterization skills such as SEM, TEM or other methods. 

  • Vulnerability and risk assessment

  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills 

  • Excellent communication ability 

  • Proficiency in English language
